Saying I am excited for my little vacation is an understatement! I can not wait to be in 80* weather!
Even though I am looking forward to taking a nap by the beach, I am excited for all of the activities we are going to do when we get down there. My family and I will be going deep see fishing, para sailing, and jet skiing. I will not partake in the jet skiing because of my huge fear of being in the ocean, and I can not swim. Everyone makes fun of me and tells me to wear a life vest, but that life vest isn't going to keep me afloat when I fall into the water and have a shark drag me to the bottom. I watched shark week on the discovery channel, I know what the possibilities are.
Last year I decided to give it one more shot and go in with my Aunt. we were jumping with the waves and everything was going fine... Until she screams. She got stung by a jelly fish. As if I needed any more reason to freak out, that was it. I don't care if it is 100* out I will never go back in to that death trap. It will be sad to watch everyone flying around and having a blast. But I will just have to wait until we go to a nice safe lake.
Every year Ken and I go on a date to the Melting Pot in Fort Meyers. It is a little tradition we started long ago. This is something I look forward to all year long, and I am so anxious to go! This year it is extra special because I haven't eaten at a restaurant in a very long time.
Its going to be amazing!
